All of the funds raised through the sale of gear are donated  to officially registered charities.  Gear donors can request funds to be given to their preferred charity.  If donors do not have a preferred charity the funds will be given to one of our Gear for Good charity partners.  

Gear for Good Causes accepts musical instruments, amplifiers, PA, sound and recording studio equipment.  We do not accept stereo, television, computers and audio/video equipment.

Playing gigs in many settings, I noticed that churches, music venues and individuals had gear they no longer use, need, or that required minor repair.  I  believed these items could be turned into financial assets for charities that do things to help people.  My initial "trial run" reaching out to various places for donations was successful.  I was encouraged to keep going, and Gear for Good Causes was born.
